  • Life Cycle: up and down.
  • Registered for AUUG (the Australian UNIX and Open Systems User Group) Conference in Sydney 3rd-5th September 2003. Topic: Open Standards. Head of the ebXML project from HongKong is there. Good opportunity (also for after masters) to meet more peer people.
  • Presentation PLUG (Perth Linux User Group) August 12th, 2003 - PREPARED.
  • Presentation Curtin Dept. of Computing September, 3nd, 2003 (date change requested with Mary M.) - SIMILAR TO PLUG presentation.
  • Changes to PEECS 2003 paper done and sent to Soh.
  • Was reading parts of two books 'Open Systems Interconnection' and 'Business and Information Systems'.
  • Thesis: Timetable: August (Background,Methodology,Analysis), September(Analysis,Conclusion,Introduction) writing. October finalising.
  • Thesis: Background/Literature review from big Candidacy Report.
  • Thesis: this week: include Dons suggestions (little of history of different standardisation efforts (EDI, ebXML)) from 2 weeks ago.
  • Thesis: this week: updated Background/Literature Review, copy of handwritten pages.
